Alvitina - The Sovereign of Life
Alvitina is known as the Soverign of Life. She is the creator of all of the Aspects, having separated herself and her powers into these 10 beings. After spending what felt like several millennia alone, Alvitina chose to split herself into 10 beings known as Aspects. These Aspects each created with certain properties in mind meant to shape and create a world that they could reign over and protect. Each of these Aspects though made from Alvitina- have their own will, personalities, memories and feelings. Alvitina’s presence within them solely consists of their power sources. It is unknown what happened to Alvitina’s consciousness but every now and then the world will flash a brilliant golden color- legends say it is Alvitina signaling to the Aspects that she is still watching over them..

Bris - The Aspect of Air
The Aspect of Air was created as a vessel of hope for the various beings roaming the earth. Guiding them in their travels to new horizons with its gust of power and providing air to the surrounding atmosphere. Bris takes the form of a phoenix. Its body appears semi-transparent, but its beauty truly shines from the rays of the sun as well as the moonlight. Legends say, every reincarnation it grows an extra tail feather. Its somewhat fragile body can only remain intact for so long. It flew to the mortal world to create a nest and lay to rest in its final hours, slowly crumbling apart while on its journey. Alas, a new day began and it allowed for another phoenix to be born to continue its endless travel in the world.

Gnist - The Aspect of Fire
Before Gnist took on its current form, it was once a regular dragon; left defenseless after beings of the land slayed its only family. Without any familiar creatures around, the lonely dragon took off to explore the zone with no regard for caution. The beings of the land discovered the dragon flying about and automatically feared they were under attack yet again. They grabbed their swords and arrows and prepared to slay another beast. The dragon did not understand what was happening. In all of its fear and confusion it let out a roar for help and accidentally released a blast of fire; barely missing the hunters. The creature did not want to attack but they were fearful of the beings actions. In that moment Gnist heard a voice from within. “Fly to the sun for my guidance,” the god spoke. With no other options, the dragon flew past the beings below and up to the sun; where its skin burned and peeled off like a snake. The shedding unveiled what was once a normal dragon, now a figure made entirely of fire and energy filling in its form taking the place of the once bright sun. The defenseless dragon transformed into an aspect to be feared and respected. The god bestowed upon Gnist destructive powers to keep the earthly beings in line; to teach and defend rather than mindlessly destroy.
Volna - The Aspect of Water
Volna was created as a supplier of water to the world. It first took the form of a large single headed serpent-like monster. It lay dormant in the form of a large lake; being the first body of water created. Its water was pure and said to cleanse the body. Not many knew of this oasis-like place. Volna took comfort in using its powers on the water to aid those who drank from it or bathed in its energy. One faithful day, Varro discovered the lake and selfishly chose to use its power without knowing of the existence of the lurking Aspect. An evil aura radiated off of Varro when they came in contact with the lake. This feeling startled Volna awake from its slumber. Volna had no other choice but to use all its strength to force Varro away due to fear of corruption. In their fight, Volna knew their power alone would never suffice. They called upon Kalt, The Aspect of Ice for help in the battle. With help from the powers sacrificed by Kalt, Volna was forced into regeneration; growing extra heads to strengthen and shield itself. As a result, its shell of water broke off into different areas to aid those all around the world with its powers. This sudden level of power was enough to intimate Varro into fleeing for the time being. Volna remains in its new form as a Hydra, using its other heads as defense from those of threatening power.
Viviant - The Aspect of Nature
On earth, there was a giant sacred oak tree wiser than the bunch that nourished the land. The beings of earth took advantage of it by using it in any way they could. For its strong branches, its beautiful leaves and its plentiful fruit. Over time the tree became weaker and weaker; it’s body seemed poisoned and unfit for use. The beings pleaded with the tree for forgiveness for their selfish actions. Their cries for forgiveness were finally heard. The wise old soul of the tree was placed into the form of a centaur. All its knowledge, strength, and pain over hundreds and thousands of years was instilled in this being, Viviant the Aspect of Nature. Viviant gained the gift of punishing those who disrupted nature in toxic ways and creating a balance of chaos to the calm beauty that is mother nature.
Tas - The Aspect of Earth
The Aspect of Earth, Tas, was created to be the protection for life on the planet by forming caves to create shelter and produce resources such as cliffs, mountains and ravines. It takes the form of a man kneeling on one knee. One of his arms is holding onto a sword plunged into the earth while the other arm is chained down to the ground with an open palm facing the sky. Tas felt immensely passionate about using their supportive powers for good, but this came at a cost. The more Tas would use their power, the more it made their form deteriorate. After a foolish but selfless act to form a large mountain in the world, one of Tas’ legs broke into pieces. As a punishment for Earth’s reckless actions, Alvitina forced chains to hold him back from releasing too much power ever again. Even the strongest willpower cannot break the hold on him, this was an interference of control. Tas lost his ability to create and only had his passion for defending left.
Kalt - The Aspect of Ice
Kalt was created similarly to how Volna was created; first as a body of water on land. Its purpose was to supply comfort to all beings through its cooling essence. It takes the form of a Spirit Bear with four cubs. The mother bear, Kalt, would use its powers to care for its children as well as any being that it came across. When danger arose Kalt would simply use its abilities to freeze the area, warning off intruders with bad intent. Kalt and Volna used to take pride in their similarities and formed a bond. Unfortunately, when Varro intruded on Volna, Kalt had sent its cubs to assist in the fight. During the fight Kalt’s cubs sacrificed themselves to turn into the emerging extra heads of Volna; supplying them with powers to ward off Varro for the time being. While Volna was successful in their efforts, Kalt became a heartbroken and grieving parent. Regretful of their decision Kalt truly became cold, isolating themselves and amping up their defenses forming an enormous wall of ice. Their land became a tundra with a billowing unending blizzard thick enough that most could not withstand existing in such conditions. The storm was strong enough to push away those that could not tolerate its power.
Kairos - The Aspect of Time
The Aspect of Time takes the forms of a sun and a full moon. They each take a hand in controlling the cycle of time and have the ability to use it to their advantage. When they were created, there were originally three to this bunch. A Sun, a Moon, and lastly a Star. Sun and Moon were crafted perfectly, however Star did not fare well. When Star was created, their powers simply were not strong enough to be considered an Aspect, and their life was rapidly in danger of ending. Sun and Moon knew time was in their hands and decided to sacrifice a piece of themself to make Star whole again. Afterwards, the Sun grew weak as did the Moon. Sun and Moon could not bear living in such a weakened state. Knowing their duties in the world, they came together for a second time and united as one being. Together, they became Kairos the Aspect of Time.
Lys - The Aspect of Light
The Aspect of Light was born first as a star shining as bright as can be, lighting up the sky to guide travelers of the night. Over time what once was the largest and brightest star slowly became a dim version of itself. Seeking help the star went to Sun and Moon for assistance. Upon seeing Star’s life flickering, Sun and Moon offered up pieces of their power to assist Star to keep it from fading. However, the Star could not stay in the same sky as Sun and Moon and came crashing down to the Earth. Sun and Moons powers allowed Star to stay alive as a newly born Aspect. Star now took the form of a wisp, a kind being constructed of pure light known as Lys.
Hiraeth - The Aspect of Soul
There once was a vulture that in its first moments of life opened its eyes to see a single flower in the distance. The flower that stood alone was a deep black color with petals that puffed out; it's dark aura a large contrast from the lighter more colorful flowers nearby. The vulture became transfixed on this flower, never removing it from its gaze. Days turned into weeks, weeks then became months; no matter what the vulture did not let anything distract itself from the flower. Each time the wind would make the flower sway, the vulture would mimic its movements, even fluffing up its feathers to look similar to its beloved flower. Still, the vulture felt unworthy of being in its direct presence refusing to move from where it sat. Over time this weakened the starving vulture. There came a period in which rainfall grew scarce, leading to strain on the flower’s health. It’s deep black petals began to transition into shades of grey. The vulture panicked and acted in pure desperation. As it slowly stretched out its weakened wings its stomach growled out of frustration. It would either be the vulture or the flower last stand. The vulture used the last of its strength to rest down in front of the flower. As it sat it began to claw and stab at itself; ending its own life for the flower’s sake. Its blood poured into the soil of the flower as the light faded from its eyes. Days later the body was found by Viviant who was perplexed by the scene. Viviant chose to bless them by burying the vulture and replanting the flower on top of its grave. Shortly after leaving the area, a dark presence started to emanate from the flower; a storm suddenly took shape after a long drought. The flower took the nutrients from the deceased vulture and grew, but ultimately it was overwhelmed by the amount of rain. Deep in the ground the roots of the flower began to intertwine with the vulture, piercing through its heart. The flower first slumped over whilst its petals began to crumble, its pieces slowly came together forming a shadowy figure. Suddenly, a gust sprung forth from the pile of petals, the pieces came together in final form becoming that of a wraith; birthing Hiraeth, Aspect of Soul.
Varro - The Aspect of Darkness
Varro was born from Alvitina as the Aspect of Darkness. Where there is light and good within all things, there is also darkness. Varro did his best to try helping other Aspects at the start in return for partial control of their lands. The other Aspects sensed selfishness and malice within his demeanor, eventually pushing Varro into becoming an outcast. Varro eventually wandered to the northernmost secluded area of the world after polluting the lands he traversed. Legends spread of evil looking figures coming from that part of the realm. Eventually as time passed and kingdoms formed, people sometimes would be exiled or forced from their home territories for various reasons. These exiled hearing of the legends all gravitated towards the same place as Varro, the loneliest part of the world. One day while roaming around his domain Varro stumbled across the exiled tribe, all of them coming from different Aspects Domains. Angry at first, Varro noticed the fear in their eyes and felt a sense of pity towards the discarded mortals. He decided to allow them to live if they became servants of his domain. They agreed and over time grew their own civilization with Varro as their new Aspect.
